The surroundings of Vesileppis are a whirlwind of activity. The multifunctional Vokkola Sports Park is located right beside the hotel. Quality sports facilities provide opportunities for activity and training of several sports for athletes and enthusiasts of all ages and levels of fitness. Vokkola sports field features also a full-size football pitch. An artificial turf is also available for baseball and even more football. Cross country skiing trails and a wide assortment of other outdoor recreation areas are right in the hotel vicinity.
Vokkola Sports park features 2 tennis courts, 3 beach volley courts, a mini rink, children's playground and traffic park, fitness equipment & toys and a parkour obstacle course. Our 9-hole course is located behind the hotel close to other activities. We have also a 9-hole disc golf course with a scenic view over the lake. The 9-hole Konnus Golf course is a 10-minute drive away from Vesileppis and there tee times are available without reservation.
In winter the sports park features a big ice skating rink and a hockey rink. A Nordic ski trail starts behind the hotel. Some of the not so usual winter sports are snowshoeing and Husky sled rides. In the summertime kayaks and SUP paddle boards are available for rent. We also offer fishing trips on commission. Trips include fishing licenses, equipment and helmsman/guide. Other Leppävirta's nearby activities include e.g. golf and horse riding and white water fishing.
Vesileppis has a a full-size football lawn which provides opportunity for pickup soccer and more competitive matches. Football camps feature professional ball players who to look up to for inspiration. We also have an artificial turf in the Vokkola sports park for even more football!
Right beside the hotel there is a full-size Vokkola sports field where you can find the equipment to practice all the track & field events. Whether you are an amateur, a junior or a seasoned athlete, on our field you'll find that extra gear to your speed and another inch to your jump.
Miniature golf is fun and suits everyone, whether you want to play alone or with others. Our 9-hole course can be found the hotel, and it is accessible through the restaurant's terrace or via a path around the hotel corner.
Appreciate the Great Outdoors while chilling on skis, skates, shoes or sleds! Snow sports equipment are available for hire at the hotel reception.
